So, what gauges do you think are necessary

If I decide to add oil temp later I will remove the VDO water temp gauge and put an oil temp in its place. Then I will linearize the stock water temp gauge so I still only have 2 extra gauges in the cockpit.
dammit! I just ordered the Autometer one because I couldn't find the tri power site, and even when I was on it before, they didn't advertise one.
M'er F'er..........

I improvised and used a clothe hanger (extended) to pull the wires from the top of the dash (already connected to the gauges) to the bottom where I connented all the hot/ground wires together. It took me longer to cut and connect the proper length wires to the Gauges before I snaked them through the inner dash with the clothe hanger from the top.

They have the triple pod? I didn't see it represented there.
Maybe i'm making a mistake here , and noone mentioned the triple pod......
I was referring the the triple gauge pod that Tripower was going to make.......
Maybe hey never ended up making it.

My gauges came today!
The pod comes in tomorrow. I went with the autometer triple because it replaces the whole a pillar..........which some thieves(whom I caught in the act) ripped entirely out.
At least one of them won't ever walk straight again.......
I wanted to avoid it.......but i'm going to tint my windows now. Less temptation for the POS kids.

Wow you caught them? nice! What's the story man? Were you parked on the street? Not sure how'd I react if I saw more than one guy trying to break into my car. Would I call the cops and wait, would I rush them and bust out the can of whoop ***...interesting?
I completely lost all control. It was nothing I could control.
I was parked in a lot at a school about a block away from where I was playing sax for the night. On the way to the club, I met a girl I knew. I was talking with her for about 5 minutes when I heard glass break.
I walked back around the corner to see what was up, and to my horror saw two kids ravaging my car. I dropped everything and rushed them. This event was the 6th time I've had people break into, or key my car, so this was a long time brewing.
They saw me and tried to run. I caught one of them and beat him senseless. I kicked him........I lost it.......... and I mean totally lost it. He was almost incoherent. However, while I was wigging, the other kid snuck back and hit me over the head with what I can only think was my own gauge pod. Little F'er. I was down for a couple of seconds, and I got up just in time to see them hop into a car.
Had a nice lump on my head for a week. Nothing like what the other kid is...and maybe still is dealing with.
Maybe next time these kids will think twice before they show someone that kind of disrespect. As far as i'm concerned they need to learn accountability. You mess with someone's stuff, you have a chance of getting your *** kicked. The problem is, if circumstances were diffirent in any way, I could be the one that got in trouble. As long as the law allows the thieves to bwcome the victims, we will have to deal with this BS.
I don't know, maybe i'm just a bastard.

I know. I am lucky.
But, that's all in the past now. I'm on the comeback trail now.
Gauges today......toe links and control arms Thursday.....and the following week rebuilt twins.
I should be good to go in 3 weeks.

I do have a beater. I have an 88 Monte SS. The problem is, is that it looked nice as well, so they vandalized that. They keyed it when I went in to a pizza shop to grab a slice. I came out and they had done it...........and people wonder why i'm quite willing to put myself in danger just to protect my ****.......
I've just had bad luck I guess.
