everything is going smooth so far.. im pulling my engine for a rebuild and im pullin my auto trans fora swap for a 5 spd .. a light bulb just came on does my trans need to be in neautral for any reason.. cuz i have everything tore to **** and it would be best now to put it in neautral b4 i go farther.. im just curious if being in park would affect anything.. all i have left to do is disconnect the downpipe from cat.. and pull harness thru firewall.. but i dont want to disconnect it untill im sure tha car is cool in park..

i dont have it out yet but i didnt really want to start a museum of auto trans parts so when its out ill sell it..
