Because it surely looks like that through your story.

Sorry i was gonna major in psychology so i tend to analyze and observe everything rather thoroughly
no probs, i know you contribute alot around here so i have alot of respect for what you have to say

As far as "my mistake" goes. My mistake was letting my friend use my car.
All thats really happened is the boost sensor line has come off and caused the plugs to foul while it was running like crap. There has been no "mistake" or noobish stupid actions that have caused this.
I have no quarms pushing my car to 8k + in 3rd gear.
I often hit the RPM beeper.
If i had come here and said "I was driving at 6k rpm and my boost sensor line came off, made the car run like crap and fouled the plugs. I knew exactly what it was straight away, reconnected the boost sensor line, and when i pulled the lead off the fouled plugs the back metal cap came off one of the Leading plugs, now im waiting for new plugs to arrive" Would i look like a noob?

Anyway my new plugs are here now. Im at work but am hoping to do them when i get home assuming its not bucketing down with rain.

Lessons learnt so far: Always lie when on the internet to make myself look cooler.
Only let jes alba use my toothbrush.
Dont leave FD with friend.

As an alternative, you can light a match next time you're fueling up. Pretty similar situation

yay! good to hear that it's all running well now. I hear you on the clutch, I want one too! A nice multi-plate one would be nice.

Have you got any particular clutch in mind?

I want something with a good amount of bite that wont break the bank. My friend's friend has a fairly grunty 3puk clutch that hes had lying around for some time.
If i can get that off him for a good price i will, otherwise some kind of reasonably priced Exedy heavy duty cluth.
It is for a road car, and is only lightly modified so wont go to overboard.
Will have to start researching clutches methinks.

On a side note, i bought one of those flexy screwdriver type things used for doing up hose clamps in difficult locations, will be very useful i think...
Also got the parts needed for me to make a special FD spark plug removal tool.
It just consists of a spark plug socket with a spanner welded on the end and cut in half..
I managed to do my plugs from the top of the car without removing anything using normal hand tools. PLugs from the top will be a piece of cake with the new FD plug tool
