So got the car FINALLY tuned...

And damn thats one fast ****!

At the end of a 4th gear pull I ended up maxing out my injectors... and well I'm running 850's up front w/ 1600's to back'em up.
SOOooo... now I need to run dual fuel pumps. I am guesstimating that it is most likeley sitting around 430-440 @14psi give or take... I say this b/c it is faster that my car was before w/ a T04S in it @ 14psi. I went from 1st to 2nd and easily spun the rubber.
I'm getting a little creep and need to adjust my w/g to 10lbs for safer driving motor wise... But anyway holy crap I've got this grin that just won't go away. BIG THANKS to Steve Kan @ gothamracing.com. Need some tuning? call'em!

I'll post pics of motor tomorrow...
Mods...
HKS TA45CR
Keiths Rails w/ 1600's, Braided lines, Aeromotive FPR, 850's up front
PFC w/ tuning by Steve Kan
Jacobs ign. box
T2 coil (leading)
NGK 11's w/ wires
Apex'i FMIC
Mild streetport w/ 30k on it (why I'm wanting less boost)
AVC-R (still working on that)
J&S Knock Sensor
KaaZ LSD
ACT clutch work

i am confused as to how you could be maxing out 850's and 1600's at 14psi regardless of gear i thought air was air and rpms not gear mattered
i feel dumb but please enlighten me

yeah 850's and 1600's *should* be making alot more then 430-450 to the wheels. What pump do you have?

Well... it looks like my pump could be weak... when a pump gets weak it makes the injectors work harder from my understanding. This basically means fix it or add more
Yea we were both surprised that the injectors maxed out.... considering they flow so well. But I'll be working on the pump next week to help out. I won't be running so much boost so I don't think I really need to worry so much later today but hell it can't help. I won't be trying to run any pressure until my next motor goes in and gets broke in.

P.S. That Hp# was pure guessing... take it w/ a grain of salt but understand that it feels like more than 425 easily.

Thats some serious power if you're maxing out those injectors. Steve is awesome, I couldn't be happier with my tuning. Congrats on getting it tuned, but I want dyno graphs!

I'm looking to maybe dyno it for the fun of it... the nearest 1/4 track is 45-1h drive from me so since I work 10-12 hr weekends getting off at 10pm... kinda makes it hard to make some runs... maybe when my schedule lets up a bit
I'll do a 40-70 pull for some times though.

I'm running 40psi fuel pressure on an RP fuel pump... My gauge for my FPR already died... within 4 weeks! I'll be trying to get that fixed soon so I can make sure everything is still the same. According to steve I'm running about 10.5 AFR also.

Anyone have some new/like new rotor housings laying around they want to sell? I need to start working on my rebuild.

nah, just skip that 40-70 crap lol

go with something more fun like 60-140 which is basically 3rd and 4th gear. Just start at 50 in 3rd and plant your foot. Then get someone to watch and time from 60-140.

Course if you dont want to do a 60-140 test I can understant. But 60-100 which is all in 3rd gear would at least be better than 40-70 cause you have the 2-3 shift with the 40-70 run which throws in a lot of variable between different drivers.

Good point. But 1/4 mile involves a LOT of driver skill. Dyno charts... well you can't F that up.
