So...do R1's have Suede or cloth interior?
I have heard people say that R1's have the suede seats, then someone else say R1's only have cloth seats. I was told that real R1's only had cloth seats, because the leather seats are too slippery for a performance car.

R1's along with R2's for that matter, technically came with suede-like cloth seats. While not true suede, most people refer to them as such since they are clearly different frm the base cloth seats in terms of looks, feel, and slideability factor 
Supposedly, all US R models came this way and there was no option to sunstitute cloth or leather seats in their place. Additionally, no other model was allowed the suede-like seat option(not considering any rare oddballs out there which are known to exist)
