DAG NABBIT!!! SR Ultimate Rad won't fit w/M2 Intake!!

Now what do I do? M2 says butcher the intake...No way man, this things Carbon Fiber! It fits without the lower intake hose on, but when you attach the hose it rides way high, any suggestions? Does anybody have this set-up? How the hell do you fit this all in?
????????????????????????????????????

Talking Isn't that Dadgummit?

You can always sell your SR rad and buy a fluidyne or koyo cheap from that site you told me about. From what I've heard, aftermarket rad=aftermarket rad=aftermarket rad.

Capiche?

DOH! I bought my SR for $500...Sr said the fluidyne was cheesy compared to their's. Nice beefy rad, but fitment with M2's intake seems impossible. SHI-ITE!!

I got mine to fit!
I have the SR rad and the m2 cf air box.
Takes a bit of waddling in and it fits a tiny bit higher, but it does fit.

You might try removing the small rubber mounts/washers that the radiator sits on. A friend did this and got just enough extra room to get his Fluidyne to fit with his PFS stuff. You might get some squeaking though so try adding some grease or something.

If the SR didn't fit, don't hold your breath on the Koyo because they are both the same size.

Yes, they will work together. I installed my SR Ultimate with M2 Aluminum box a couple of weeks ago.

You need to notch out the plastic fan shroud where the flap on the M2 box slides in (I used a hacksaw blade to cut the notches) now the M2 box can slide down further. Sorry I don't have pictures. If you PM me I'll give you my phone number and can explain better. Jack

I have the SR rad with the M2 CF intake box, you have to push the flap next to the rad in the slot where the opening is for the intake box. Then I used high temp tape and sealed it to the inside wall of the opening plenty of room for air to enter.
