So after...
so after my oil change the car starts up at 2000 rpm and then then when the car is finish warming up the car still stays at 2000 rpm even when u drive it. any idea on why the car is doing that? thanks
Most likely you knocked something off if you were changing the filter. Check the following things:
Vacuum lines to the MAP sensor
Connection to the TPS
Connection to the ISC (long shot as you shouldn't be in that area, but just something to check)
Cruise control cable issue (if you have cruise on your model)
