Lug nuts too long for bbs caps

Lug nuts too long for bbs caps

Hey guys just wondering if anyone else has gone to install the bbs vert rims and had trouble getting the center caps on after... Got a set of infini rims with bbs lugs and they are still too long to make the caps fit. Wondering just how short these things have to be...

get el cheapo open end lug nuts- ( unless someone put extended length studs on your car then nothing will fit without cutting the studs down )

Would you be able to solve it with some spacers?
That way you do not have to cut anything.
I use the BBS Vert wheel on the FC coupe with regular store bought acorn nuts and they fit just fine.

^^What Rob XX 7 or misterstyx69 said - basic open-end nuts from any parts store, or if you're really cheap, find Mazdas in a you-pull salvage yard and grab a bunch. Or, send those BBS caps to me

The solution to your problem is to box up the wheels and center caps and mail them to:

Jerry Harding
161....

Oh, never mind. I guess you may not want to do that. Listen to the other guys.

You can imagine my frustration after putting on my mcgard nuts to find out they don't work. Gonna go with the short open ended nuts as that looks about as short as it gets. Thanks.

And misterstyx, the issue is the depth of the bbs hub to the cap... So unfortunately only shorter nuts will work

Been there with this issue. Sadly that's the only way to go with the shortie ones that are open ended.

nothing wrong with the shorties, and with the cap installed you cant see anything anyhow


i just put extended studs and Muteki open end lugs and everything is too f'ing long- dont like the lug nuts at all
