Hey Guys I wanted to properly rejoin the club now that I have my rx7 that I got this past Sunday!
I remember when I first started looking at this forum in April I never believed that I would have a 3d gen but I worked my *** off and learned about them and then Eddie (evot23) found me this car. I owe you big time thanks man. I even got kicked off the forum because the moderators thought I was joking around with my weird posts but that's just how I am. Thanks to Andreas for getting me back on as a user instead of a guest which I had to do for a week.
For those of you still looking....there are a lot of cars being traded around right now so you just have to wait for a good one that is fairly priced and has been properly maintaned. One bad thing is that there is so much demand that people can ask a high price for the ones that are in bad shape even. So save your money and then be ready to ****** one when a good deal comes up. Good luck to all of you and if you try hard enough and want it as much as I did you will succeed!
I had a lot of luck so that can also be helpful.
I can confidently say that I think I am more excited than anyone has ever been about getting a 3d gen.
I got a very good one too that was taken care of and owned by a wise rotary man!
He did almost all of the reliability mods for me already except for a new radiator.
Unfortunately for him even though he took good care of it the motor has the o ring problem and it is leaking coolant.
So due to this and pretty bad paint condition Gil sold me the car for a very good deal.
Right now the car is at MAZSPORT 6425 Ulmerton Rd Suite B-3, Largo FL 33771 727-530-9960
Scott and his wife are the greatest people to work with they truly know about the rotary and are dedicated to building the car of your dreams. Give them a call if you are in Florida I couldn't be any happier so far with the service and results.
Here is my baby although I don't know how long Gil is going to leave this page up: http://www.geocities.com/rx7fc3s/
She is getting a mild street port with the rebuild and I am adding a new shift ****, 99 spec tail lights which Ryan Wolf is doing any day now, a profec b boost controller, 99 spec front bumper with turn lamps and then a paint job!!
I should have the car done within 3 weeks at the most and it will have everything I mentioned for sure except for the paint job because I haven't decided what shade of red to go with yet.
I'd like to thank all of you on the forum who helped me to learn about the RX-7 and I look forward to being a good member of the club.
I will post more updated pictures of everything when it is all done. As for now I go to visit her at the shop two times a day most cases
Thanks again

From: FL-->NJ/NYC again!
I remember Gil from the Big List back at the end of '98 when I bought my R1. I received some good advice from him
Another funny note--he just had a letter to SCC published in the new issue....

THANKS TO EVERYONE!
Does life get any better than this?
-Yes Gil is one of the greatest people out there
-Jonski can you translate it's too early in the morning haha
-Flybye thanks for all the advise
-Yeah the tail lights are going to look good
-BTW about the making a broken down car beautiful again...unexpectedly the car started right up even though it had been sitting for 3 months and I think I can buff the paint out and make it look really good without a paint job for a while

Thanks Jonski I kinda see it now that you told me what it said haha
There is so much that I want to do to the car but I know once I just get it back from the rebuild and street port I will love the car just the way it is and I won't mind waiting long periods of time for each mod. Hell, I may not even want mods lets see if I can even handle it the way it is.
I just updated my profile and signature and in 10 more posts I'll get to have my own car in my avitar ohh yeah
Go Easy

Hey man... consider yourself lucky because of your awesome new car. Sounds like you were in the same boat as me. I'm still saving and searching for the perfect car. Some day I'll have my 7...some day.
