Smokey after rebuild

Hey all, after a bit of advice.
Recently rebuilt my block with the help of an experienced builder. Well, I say I built it, he pretty much did everything - double and triple checked everything I did, measurements etc.

At the same time I also did a fair bit else, but I guess the salient points are:
- Large custom ports on inlet and exhaust to match the turbo
- Single conversion with brand new RX7store GT35r
- Semi wire tuck and bay tidy up
- Catch can breathing to atmos rather than inlet (retaining PCV valve)
- OMP block off, and running premix at 100:1

Started on the second turn of the key with a tiny bit of gas, all good. Some assembly smoke.
Started and run with a 0.9 bar boost map from my previous twins setup - made healthy power.

I've now done 850 miles on here, and I still have a problem with smoke.
There's a fair bit of oil smoke on startup, but I understand that this is reasonably common when running premix because of the large volume of fuel needed to start the car.
However, every so often I see whisps out of the tailpipe on idle, and if I blip the throttle, i do get a small puff

Build was done basically using OEM Mazda parts, every soft seal replaced, new SCR Apex seals, Mazda corner and side seals (clearanced to 0.07mm) and Viton oil rings.

I guess the other things of note are that there is a fair bit of 'bogging' when going back on the throttle, and some jerkyness around 2k rpm, but I put this down to the change in port size/timing.

My builder (who I trust) is confident that it may well go away with mapping, but I'm paranoid. Anyone want to help appease my mind, or be a bearer of doom?
I've spent every last penny on this build, and doing everything right, I'm not sure I could hack it if it went pear shaped.

Cheers
Si

Did you use a restrictor on the oil line?

For the 35r? Yup, I used one of these: http://www.gb-ent.co.uk/component/vi...category_id=37 Can't remember the size, think it was 0.063"?

Drain is clear, and angled downhill. There's good flow out of it when disconnected as well

Oil pressure is circa 3.5 bar on tickover, 8 bar when running.
