smog pump

what will the cars ecu do if i remove all smog components, i dont need to worry about emitions or nothing, just interested in freeing up space in the bay.

The ECU won't throw a code, however it will begin to idle like crap. To conter-act that problem, you can raise the idle up to around 1000 rpms (or get a programmable ECU to tune the idle).

so i would need to get some block off plates for the egr and other sensors then, or can i leave them in.....

You can leave them in or remove them. It's just how much work you want to do. Yes, if you remove them you'll need block-off plates.
