smelling gas after hard run

After a hard run on the highway. I smell gas really strong inside the car

Install a good fire extinguisher until the proplem is fixed.

How many miles are on the car?
When is the last time the Fuel Pulsation Dampener has been replaced?

You have a fuel leak coming form somewhere. This is a fire hazzard that you need to address soon.

car has 71k miles. I will be checking this week on the part you mentioned and for any leaks

Ya checking it out would be a great Idea, because an engine fire is a costly repair.
