That depends on you. Are you a driver or a person who like to tinker. If you like to tinker, get one that's not completely modded. If you just like to drive, get one which has been modded in the direction you would have gone had you done it yourself.

The words "limited budget" and "FD3S RX7" do not mesh well together. I would suggest saving up money then buying a stock FD with money to spare on things that will need to be replaced. Remember these cars ore over 10 years old now and stock parts start to break on a consistant basis, and they are not cheap. Any car builder knows you need to have the car solid before upgrading.

The RX7s in the best shape will obviously be 95s but they are more dificult to find then the 93s. FAQs will help you out with maintenance and whatnot. Good luck.

Yep to build your own is mighty expensive. I'm doing it. I could have saved thousands literally on parts if I bought a modded car. However i would have learned nothing about my car. I have also learned many leasons the hard way, breaking parts etc. Another question to ask yourself is can I afford to have my car down or do I need to drive it daily?
As stated above the real question is what type of person are you.

Also driving a modded FD could be bad thing. Even with one with a PFC set to tune things down the temptation will be there to go all out. While I often scratch my head at those who have wreck their RX-7's. It takes time to learn how to handle a stock FD let alone a modded one. These girls are very squirrely and need to be respected. Go with a stock onethey tend to more reliable and easier to drive.

Stock Rocks. Try to find one that has not been molested, educate yourself about the car and mod the car the right way. There are way to may RX-7s out that have been screwed up by people with more money than sense.
