oil pressure sender

does the oil pressure sender connect to the main ecu wiring harness or the ignition side harness? also will there be any ill affects if i dont have the oil level sensor connected? Thanks for the feedback

It comes off the harness the starter, oil pressure, coolant temp, alt, ect.. come off of, not the engine harness, The only "ill affect" is the low oil light will not come on if the oil is low. If your level sensor is bad you can find a good used one fairly cheap. Check the classifies.

I did find a wire that looks to wrap around the back and fits to the coolant temp though. maybe its supposed to and the oil unit connects to the ignition harness? Its been over a year since i ripped the harness off and im kickin myself for not taking pictures.

It comes out of the harness right by the heavy gage ground wire at the bottom of the block. Black/ red I think
