QC Small question on my turbo control actuator comments would be appreciated

Does anybody know why there is a hole in my turbo control pressure tube ? I have an other one and it does not have it. So I wonder is there a reason for this?
Is it a modification for response of the turbo?

Thanks
J-P

What year car did the one that you have come off of?
I don`t think that they are supposed to have a hole in them. Strange. My 94 doesn`t.

My car is a 94 FD, this is the orginal actuator, the 2 other ones are from parts car that I have,

I am the second owner of the car the original owner had a broken waste gate arm when I bought it (tells me sombody played in the turbo area )

So makes me wonder

Hey J-P!! Hope your FD will be on the road soon

For that hole, boost leak my friend. Maybe will also make the turbo control valve not to be fully open, less power, more EBP=more heat, more problem ;P
This hole is not welcome in your FD

Hope to see you at the next meet!
Dominic
