small problem: need answer asap

i have a hks ssqv blow off vavle. it has the rx-7 fitting on it. how the **** do i get this fitting off? hks told me i have to pinch the two tiny holes on the c-clamp together, but it is impossible. someone must know a good way to do this. otherwise, im going to start cutting.

You probably need to get a pair of snapring pliers to pinch the clamp. Should be able to pick one up at the local hardware store.

Im in the same boat as you man. It is ****** hard. I'll let you know if I find a way.

If we were smart we would have ordered the universal BOV. I'm thinking of returning it to get the universal one because it is so hard to get off. And its cheaper.

ok, i got it. it wasnt that hard in the end. i actually used the snap ring pliers without the 90 degree angle. i found it easier cause you can push down. that was they dont slip out. the trick is just to pinch hard. if you pinch it hard enough, it will fall right out.
