slight hesitation before boost at low RPMs

ok, I let the car warm up for a while then I start to drive it trying to keep the car from boosting and under normal driving conditions say shifting at 2500- 4000 RPM when i hit about 3K and the pressure starts to change the car hesitates once or twice ever so slightly and then all is well, but it only does it at the very moment every time.

NOW if I put my foot into the gas or drive hard for a while it won't do it anymore, but if I slow down agian after a while it will start doing it, agian.

Other than that the car boosts correctly and doesn't seem to do it at higher RPM (IE letting off the gas an on agian at say 5K)

I realize there are a 1000 things that could cause this, but some ideas of where to begin to look would help. I am planning a LARGE work over on the car soon (all fluids and vacum line changes as well as checking for leaks etc.)

Also what weight oil does the tranny use?

Very common problem with the stock ecu. Search "3k hesitation" or: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ght=hesitation

From what I understand 75 w90 is the way to go. Neo Synthetics seems to be the cream of the crop as far a gear oil is concerned.
