Sleeping on it!

Here's the deal,

I am about to order $4,500 in parts (99 Spec front and rear, Lights, Carbon Fiber Hood, 99 Fog Lights) for the FD and another $5,000 in paint.

The parts bring me pause though because I have done some searches on the forum and can't find too much about rx7store.net, other than you can order from them, and would like some reassurance before I fork over $4,500 to an internet company. Any recent thoughts/experiences on the vendor would be appreciated. I am going to sleep on it tonight and make the decision tomorrow.

This also means that my 93 spec bumper and lights will be up for sale if anyone is interested.

Thanks

They're good folks - been around quite some time, and part of their profits go to run the forum.

When buying something that costs THAT much, though, I would probably call them on the phone and discuss the parts with them. That way you have a rep that you're working with, know when/if the parts are in stock, all that kind of good stuff. Their phone number should be on the site.

I've bought trailing arms from them, good people always had a rep there to assist me in shipping questions. I'd give them an A. As for that i would call them first. Best to know just in case something is backordered you wont have any problems that way.

How the heck do those parts come to $4500? Looks more like $2000-2500 to me.

Payment Devices

They have always delivered for me, and I have spent around 3k with them.

Always use a credit card, or secure your transaction legally. The easiest way to do this is use a credit card, which offers the safest consumer protection through the truth in lending act.

You have other options too if you can't get that kind of credit from a credit card company.

Good luck...

I've bought a number of things from them over the years. Jason is a good guy. Never had a problem. Besides, I like supporting the the ppes that brings us this kick-*** forum.

Money/credit isn't an issue, that's not to say I want to over pay. The parts list includes the 99 front, 99 fog lights, the HID non pop up lights, a Carbon Fiber Hood, 99 Spec Tail Lights and some miscellaneous (efini emblems, etc.) items not to mention a $350 shipping charge for all the body stuff. The $5000 on the paint job is because I have the body shop take every thing off of the car media blasted, primered, painted and clear coated as well as the interior removed so under the carpets matches, wheel wells match, etc.

Just want to make sure if I shell out cash the parts show up. On my muscle car (69 Montego MX) I have been waiting for a kick panel for over 5 months and don't want to duplicate that experience. Spending money on a deal that doesn't show and then having to spend again to get it from another source is no deal.

Thanks for all the input.
