Sleek light kit... I'm having a hell of a time choosing one.

Ok guys, I've done the searches, I've looked through the group buys. And I came to these final preferences in deciding which sleek light kit I want to go with, I need help choosing one though!!!

1. No cutting of chassis required, I need to put it back to stock if I have to.
2. HID High Beam option required, low beam can be halogen (preferred).
3. Must illuminate the road at least as good as stock while in low beam mode.
4. HID must be available in a white color, and REALLY light up the road, I usually take drives in remote places with no lightsources (only the moon).

Please send me a link, PM me, or post pics of your kit and review, I've read plenty of them but maybe I missed a few lurking reviews there.

I really want to buy a kit ASAP.

no just kiding man. But your criteria is very specific on a very limited market but these are the kits that I know of

1. RE amemiya sleek light kit
2. Rotary extreme sleek light kit (replica of RE's)
3. C WEST light kit (or replicas)
4. Pre auto sleek light kit
5. fd3s777's sleek light kit
6 East bear light kit

I'm not gonna link you to anything it's too much work so you can look them up yourself. But I will say that because of your criteria you can throw out all of them except #5. Now if you change the lighting yourself then you can probably include #3 and #6. 1,2,4 require cutting.

I ordered the fd3s777 kit too.. actually i have it already, just not installed. They look awesome and requires no chassis cutting. It's a high projector and low projector. I ordered mine with HID for the low bean and came out to be around 800, which is a great price IMO for sleek HID

I agree 100%.

If you want better lighting, look into an HID kit. Cheaper than the sleek light kit, install is a breeze too. Click on the link in my sig to see the differences between stock lights and pop-up HIDs

I really liked the pop ups during the day, but at night I think they look really tacky when they are poped up. I have the rotary run racing headlights, you can modify the brackets so you dont have to cut the chassis but you will have to trim the front bumper.
here are two crappy pics, they look alot better in person

^I've always like the RR sleek lights, but I hate the idea of cutting anything on the car, especially because you never know when someone will make an even nicer sleek kit that you must absolutely have. I rather prefer the option to change.

well you cut the front bumper, so if you were to change you would just need another bumper that wasnt cut

There are no truly good sleek light kits. The only hope is that LaBreck's lives up to promise when it comes out in 2050, the year before his car is finished.

the rotary extreme kit looks really good, especially with a 99 front end.

i think the stock pop-up's makes the whole front end look cheap, very similar to a miata.

^Oh wow dude. Those look badass. The ONLY thing I don't like about C-west is that they bubble soooo much. It just doesn't flow that well IMO.

Thumbs up Sleek Light and HID Options

Also another recommendation is FD3s777's sleek light kit. But, i dont not suggest getting the HID option from them unless you are getting something below 6000k, otherwise then you should stick with that HID option. This is because I've owned his kit got it installed, had the 8000k HID and the 12000k HID. The 8000k was crystal white with a blend of blue, but its worst than using a flash light on the car. Then I had him swapped me the 12000k, much better and its blue, but still not lighting up really well. I would recommend getting the HID option from IceMark who sells a group buy of HID here, which had great reviews by alot of buyers here.

Heres his site for the HIDs, but from what I remember, he had stopped his groupbuy. Shoot him a pm and see what he can do for you.

I also have Jay's sleek light kit. Its definitely one of the best ones on the market which doesn't require modification to the bumper. I didn't go with the HID option he offers, but instead purchased Kaixen HID's off the forum member Autodoodad. Awesome prices and a fantastic HID kit.
