slave cylinder problem..

I recently took out my transmission to replace my clutch and pilot bearing and when i was pumping up the clutch to bleed it and brake fluid would pour out of the inspection plate. So I figured it was the slave cylinder, I went to mazda and put it in today and still am experiencing the same problem.. Does anyone know what else it could be ?

Yeah I have a guess. If the slave does not sit on the fork just right, when you try to bleed it it pops the piston out of the slave. Look in the inspection port and see if the slave is missing the fork. It took me three tries to get it seated right.

Yeah, I guess I didnt have it lined up on the clutch fork good enough, so clint pulled the starter off and lined it up good and it finally worked!

Drove me crazy. I would not have thought you could get it mounted and snug up all the bolts and still be screwing the pooch but you can.

Glad you fixed it.
