is the clutch slave cylinder the same for the second and third gen?

my save cylider **** the bed..... having trouble finding one.

I don't believe they are the same (as they area different clutch types). You can get one from here (or a rebuild kit):

You can also try Ray Crowe at Malloy. You can do a search and come up with his contact info. Ray gives outstanding prices to club members (make sure you mention the RX-7 club) and shipping is usually one or two day.
