Single turbo - smoking !

The turbo is new - i haven't boost it yet. It's a T76 turbo.
Smokes like a chimney --- Do I need a restrictor?
My return is 10AN hose - the hose looped lower than the return end at the oil sump. Is this causing my turbo smokes?

Thank u

What brand turbo? Miles on the motor?
I would run 20/50 oil and install a restrictor in the feed like to start

your drain cannot loop lower than the drain, fix that.
