Top one uses the PFC / stock ECU's boost controller

While the second one you need to have an aftermarket boost controller .

The first one shows deleting the wastegate control and using one boost controller. The second shows deleting both the pre-control and wastegate control solenoids(They are the two solenoids attached together) and using a single controller to control both. This is not ideal and if you search Damian's sequential control thread here on the forum you will find the correct way to delete them both and get the fastest spooling setup with best control possible.

First one is running aftermarket controller for wastegate control only, 2nd one is running aftermarket controller for both turbo precontrol and wastegate control.

Look at the pink line ( pink solenoid ) with the top one is still uses the stock solenoid to control the boost , if you add a boost controller to the system you can limit howmuch air the system sees So for example , if stock . because the STOCK boost controller system is in tact it will never see less then 10 psi , BUT may see more then 10 psi . like 12 psi .

with the second diagram since you eliminate the pink solenoid , it will not work at all , and

You can control the boost from 7 PSI ( WASTE GATE SPRING ) and higher.
