Simplification CEL Woes...
So I did the seq simp setup the other day and while I had the top end off doing so I went ahead and threw in 1/2w 330ohm resistors fired her up and here is what the CEL told me:
30 - Solenoid Valve - Split Air Bypass
33 - Solenoid Valve - Port Air Bypass
34 - Solenoid Valve - Idle Speed Control
38 - Solenoid Valve - Accel Warmup
39 - Solenoid Valve - Relief 2
Which are the 5 items I put a resistor in!
Now to be absolutely positive, I cleared the ECU and fired it up again, same codes. It was pretty straight forward I crimped the ends of the resistors with spade connectors and plugged them in then tapped them up nicely.
All of the searching I have done has said that the 1/2w 330ohm resistors are the ones that work.
Can anyone give me any advice here?
Thanks,
Kyle

Okay, need to update this and bump it back.
So I was getting the CEL's with resistors in place of the solenoids, well today I took off my UIM and put the solenoids in and reset the ECU and I still get the same CEL's with the solenoids in, I reset the ECU 3 times to verify this.
Anyone have a clue as to why this would be happening? I was thinking maybe a fault with a common wire, but none of the turbo control system solenoids throw a CEL and I thought they were all on the same leg.
Thanks in Advance,
Kyle

I had the same issue but never got to trouble shoot it, I assumed mine had to do with poor contact to the resistors...
