Silver 93 RX-7 with red/black interior????

I found a silver 93 with red/black interior. Is this original? The seats are red leather, the door panels, and seat belts are red as well. The gauges are silver with blue writing. Did the car come this way???

How rare is the red/black interior? I've been looking at FDs for the past month (to buy ones soon) this is the first one I have seen like this.

Here is a pic of the gauge:

The interior:

That all OEM?

I think so. I've only ever seen one in person. A little wild but I can see why some dig it.

The red interior is a pretty rare option. If I recall, I saw a table of production figures that included interior colors. If you search, you might be able to find it.

that looks like a half-done black-to-red or red-to-black swap. The gauges are not factory. A SSM/red car is pretty rare, and a sweet color combo if you ask me

It is not half done, it is a stock 93 red interiior, except for the gauges. Is there an echo in here?

I have a silver ext./red interior car. I think the only color combo that's more rare is black/red, I've seriously only seen that once in my life. The only trouble with the red interior is that you can't find anyone selling a good condition set of seats when yours decide to open up at the bolsters...

I'm confused. So is your car like the one pictured silver ext. and red/black int.? Or is the interior all red, including center console and dash?

His is probably just like mine which is just like the one pictured. That is the rare stock 93 silver with red interior. Like he also said... looks greeeaaat, I love mine. BUT it is pretty hard to find replacement seats and the red is hard to match. The gauges are not stock as also stated above. They look ok, but if you ask me the stock black ones look better.

my car is silver w/ red int. also and that is exactly what it looks like except i had the bose tape deck below. but yes the center console, dash, and door handles should be black like that. the guages, however, are aftermarket

red interior is niiice. in 94+ all interiors had black door panels,eg. tan interiors only had only tan seats and carpet and trunk relase cover etc. bins and doors black.
