Apex-i has two versions available on their website.....just measure your tip....most japanese muffs as of late nearly have the same size tip.....114mm or 130mm.

Rotary Performance aka RX7.com sells them for $50.

I purchased the larger of the two size openings available. I noticed (my neighbours actualy) a decrease in sound level.

Also acts like a resrictor if your running a mid pipe to limit boost creep.

Mfg from stainless steel, not Ti.

I installed a larger dia bolt with a metal self locking nut. The supplied hardware loosened up & rattled like hell after a couple of weeks of use

I had the same problem. i have the Apex-i GT spec in my garage now because its too loud, i changed it out for the HKS Super Drager, with a high flow resonator in the mid pipe, help a bunch. if you dont want to switch exhaust then just put in a resonator in the mid pipe.
Also if you put in a slincer (I have one with the Apex-I GT) it will cause you to loose boost, i lost 4psi with the silencer on.

FD3S2005, if you want a louder exhaust then i got an Apex-i GT spec if your instrested.
