sikky PS rack bushings? Better Feedback?

Mazda FD RX7 Steering Rack BushingSteering

Looking into the various options to improve the feedback of the poor FD power steering. Has anyone tried these, and do they work as described?

I've installed something similar a TII and noticed a difference.

I didn't understand either. It isn't obvious until you read the instructions:

Hmmm.....

This solid bushing is definitely a huge upgrade over the worn out OEM bushing! Plus it's one of the most cost effective ways to help improve your steering response and feel. Let me know if I can help with any questions or get an order going for you.

Hey sikky while on the subject of steering feel is there anything you could come up with to lower the amount of assist without de-powering the rack? Would a banjo bolt with a smaller orifice or some sort of flow restrictor work, or some other way to keep power steering but not have that loose over assisted feel?

I was thinking about trying to use this, but would require some extra work with custom lines.

Indeed , but being able to adjust power steering from the cabin , sound pretty sweet to me.
I think it's easier than electric
Someone somewhere must have done this before

Those other ideas are cool but I just figured there should be a simple way to change the pressure or flow output of the pump without having to extensively change or add any components.

The only suggestion I'd have would be either a restrictor fitting or something like that adjustable power steering valve. You'll need a new line to mate up to it, unless the fitting comes with one as a kit, but other than that it's pretty strait forward. We don't have anything to offer unfortunately but I know there are some companies out there who offer what you'd need.

Let me know if I can help with anything else guys.

I would wager a modest sum that these will only improve things if your stock bushings are broken down.

If your stock bushings are in good condition I really doubt someone could tell in a double-blind test.
