should i, and what fuel pump?
should i, and what fuel pump?
ok i was wondering if you guys/gals thought that i may be in need of a fuel pump, or what my next mod should be. i have intake dp mp cat back, non-seq and pettit ecu. do you think it is about time for a fuel pump. i have the auto meter air/fuel gauge and when i am on it, it reads rich, so i dont know. if so what type would be best for my application, thanks for all the time and help, scott
for one...you cant completly rely on your a/f is you have a stock o2 sensor... it's simple not good enough...
my personal peference on the bosch fuel pump...the one with a full screen across the bottom...part # 00580254005
others are using the walbro with great success and it's pretty unexpensive...
both require some clamps to work with the oem stuff...

ok thanks, i noticed the walpro said 255 lph. what is the stock lph? ok this may be a dumb question, but one i have been wondering. why do you need to replace the fuel pump? i mean, like the injectors can only pump out so much fuel right? so how does an upgraded pump help? thanks for the help, i like knowing as much as possible, learning is the fun part
thanks, scott
