Should I keep the '93?

I have an '93 touring with 47k miles. Never been raced, and pretty much pampered all these years.
If I am to keep this car, and depend on it as a means of "reliable" transportation, what can I do proactively to the motor, vaccum lines, turbos, etc. to ensure it will run for many, many more miles?
Is there a list of simple things that should be done purely based on its age?
Thanks!

first go to the rx7.com site, then links, then the "lightning in a world of thunder" link, here you will find all the reliability MUST DO'S for our engine. with the better radiator, the most expensive part, it isnt that much for everything, especially if you put the mods in yourself like we all do here. so if you need help, dont forget about the search button.

Theres no doubt about it...The best running RX7's are the unmodded ones (not talking about reliability mods)

If you wanna keep the car the way it is and just running good as a daily driver and not a weekend spiriter..Just do the Reliability mods...
i.e: aluminum ast, downpipe, upgraded rad, hoses, fluids etc etc..

Check out what rob has to say about this issue. You will find all the answers ur looking for here.

I've been asking myself the same question for the last three years, should I keep it or sell it. My 93 has 68K on it and has been pamperd by yours truly for nearly 10 years. THe last couple of years it has only been a weekend cruiser, which has made me think about sellign it. I would love ot buy a boat with the money, somehting i feel I would enjoy more than my rx-7. There just something in me that wont let me sell it. I know I would be pretty sad the day I sold it, and just maybe it will be a collectors item.

As far as the reliability mods, I was told by a rotary mechanic that as long as I dont race the car, and I keep all the fluids fresh that I dont need the MUST DO reliability mods. So I'll keep the car for now and also keep it stock.
