Should I get 17s or keep the 18s?

I currently have borbet 18x9 wheels, and I think they look badass, but they are about 21-22 pounds each.

I saw an add in a magiazine and velox racing has soem 17" wheels out that only weight 12.5 pounds. These aren't necessarily that I want, but it got me thinking

Should I keep my badass looking 18x9s, or should I get some lighter 17" wheels?

My car is mainly for cruising around town, and then I goto the track some during the summer.

Just a thought I'm tossing around.

What do you guys think?

I love your rims.. When/if I switch from the stockers, I plan on getting the Borbet Type T rims as well, however, I don't think I would get the 18's...

I would keep 'em!

If not, PM me!

Can'y belive I didn't think of this, I can just pick up a set of stockers and only use them for the track.

Hey H,

If you ever change your mind, I'd buy them back from you.... Having just stockers sucks!

a common solution but the footprint the stockers allows you is limited to 245s....for track use...your gonna need a wider footprint to get the power down...

ill place my bid on your tds if you decide to release em....
