should i be concerns? clicking noice from fuel?
im just finishing up putting my car back together... everything was pretty much stripped and cleaned. the engine was lubed with 2cycle oil while it was out and most of it was drained out before going in..
fuel tank was dried out and just filled with 3.5 gallons of gas... removed the EGI fuse and plug for the alternator to prime the engine then i finally got around to cranking it.. after a few tries it looks like my battery is running out of juice... but after i crank for a few seconds and stop i hear a clicking noise coming from the fuel tank area... it clicks for maybe 3-5 times? and i also hear fuel flowing? it sounds like when youre in the basement and you hear the water flowing the the plumbing from upstairs..
is this normal? its been a while since ive heard my fd running but i certainly dont recall this after cranking it.. help or guicance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

I would run the fuel pump alone to see if that is where the clicking is coming from. Jumper the F/P and GND terminals in the diagnostic box and turn the ignition to "on". You will now have the fuel pump running full time (don't let it run all day) - does it still make the clicking?
