13b cosmo twin turbo engine

Is this the same engine as in the Fds?

Would this be a direct drop in?

It will fit with some modification. Mainly the motor mounts are in a different place. However the engine makes less power then a 13b-REW and the twins are smaller (HT10 vs HT12). Also the exhaust sleeves are supposedly smaller and is a restriction.

Personally I don't think you'd save any money this way and you'd end up with a slower then stock car.

it's a swap that doesn't make as much sense in the FD. it's better in 2nd gens because the motor mounts are closer and the wiring isn't too far off from an s5.

the runner portion of the intake ports in the cosmo engine are enormous though.
