Should I buy this FD?

I recently purchased my first FD which is a 94 R2 very clean. To nice to tear apart and build so I was looking for a project FD and found a 93 Montego Blue not an R series car but its BPU. The project part about the car is the interior is out and a roll bar was welded in. Car has about 100k miles. Clean and clear title. It is fairly local and he is asking 4500. What do you all think.

Yeah i know its not a great description. And he says he has all the interior still just not installed. When he gutted the interior the car was making 320 whp as a DD. I geuss my ? was more is 4500 a good price. Im thinking offer 3k and at the most pay 4.

You need a better definition of "roller" to assess the price. Different people have different ideas of what comes with a "roller", which have an impact on pricing.

Honestly Im new to the rotary scene but I feel like since all the parts are there and with just the interior needing to be installed to have a complete running car 3k would be a steal.

A roller could be anywhere from $3000-10,000 depending on what it comes with... That's why I mentioned you need to understand what's coming with a "roller" to assess a good price. A car with a new paint job, good interior, good set of aftermarket wheels and only missing an engine can be considered a "roller" and be worth quite a bit. However, there can be a car sitting on 4 spare tires, interior ripped out, needing a paint job, no wiring and no dash being sold as a "roller" which would not demand the same price.
