Short Throw (Pettit) Instructions

Does anyone have pics or detailed instructions...I'd like it to be for the Pettit because I think they are all slightly different as far as what parts are used but whatever you have may help. I installed mine tonight and it works wonderful but the thing is pointed a little to the right like my shift **** is limp....1st is where 3d used to be etc all shifted to the right and at neutral its not dead center but tilted.

thanks

Yanni

I want to add that this is the same as the RX7store shifter and mazdaspeed I think is what I just read

I LOVE this shifter best mod you can do just as I suspected but I'd like to get this fixed I don't think it's right.

I have the B&M. It didn't come with instructions. Maybe you have yours on backwards??? Just a thought.

I believe you have to use the "base" off the stocker...don't know what the part is called, but it has three bolts that hold it on.

good luck (call Daniel in GA, he uses this shifter, and can explain better than me)

The B&M replaces the whole unit. The RX7Store/Pettit/Mazdaspeed requires assembly using the stock unit with replacement parts.

Snook, I'll check around to see if I have the instructions left over, but I doubt it (it's been a long time). I'm sure if you call Jason or Pettit, either one would fax you the sheet.

Looks like I tossed it when I cleaned out the garage a while back. I'm sure Jason and the RX7Store wouldn't mind faxing you one. When I ordered mine, the instruction sheet wasn't in the box so Jason faxed it to me the next day.
