short somewhere at ECU? possibilities?

short somewhere at ECU? possibilities?
Recently my EGI fuse blew on me and kept blowing every time i would turn the key to the "ON" position. last night i disconnected my Power FC from the harness and turned it to "ON" and it didnt blow. what are the possibilities that could be wrong?
