SHORT SHIFTER INSTALL.is this right?

Hiya out there. Need to know if I'm doing this right. I just bought a MAZDASPEED short shifter. Enclosed is the lever (shifter), an alum inner ring, a larger outer ring, a gasket, three bolts. First I take the old shifter out and I am guessing REMOVE THE OLD LOWER BUSHING (WHITE RING) AND WAVE SPRING?, Then, after I clean the tower hole and fill the resevoir with 90 W trans/gear oil, I put the smaller inner ring in the hole lining up the notch to the pin. Next, I put the gasket on the top of the tower lining up the holes of course. After that I put the larger ring on top of the tower. Lastly I put the shifter in through the hole making sure to line up the pin and the notch in the ball, and push the upper bushing into the larger ring. Lastly I bolt it in with the provided bolts. IS THIS CORRECT? I'm concerned about several things:
1)Do I use the lower bushing at all? If so where does it go?
2)There is no notch in the upper bushing ring. I know with several of the other shifters there is a notch to line up with the pin.
3) Which parts should I put grease on?
4) Do I have all the parts?
Let me know if I'm doing this right. I'm on a time constraint and don't want to have to do this over! Also any tips for install are welcome! remember, this is a genuine MazdaSpeed short shifter. (instructions were in Japanese!)

I have not installed my short shifter yet but, I just bought a JDM tranny and I pulled the stock shifter out of my old tranny. It is a very straight forward install. Like the shifter I have, the wave washer and gasket should already be on the shifter. Take the copper bushing and push it onto the ball of the shifter. Add the trans oil, line up the groove on the shifter with the one on the tranny and shove it in. Turn the gasket so the bolt holes line up and that aught to be it.
P.s
By the way, I think I wasted my money buying a short shifter 'cause a friend modified my stock shifter and the throw is going to be much shorter than the one I bought. It is going to sit lower too.

I have the C's shifter and I think it is the same. . .it was pretty obvious how everything went in once you get started. The thing that makes me comment is that I did put the wave spring back in where it came from as I assumed it would help prevent rattling and everything fit up nice and snug with it in there. Grease everthing that moves! lol Sorry I'm not more help.

In diagram "3" of your Mazdaspeed instructions is an exploded view of the new shifter and all the parts used. The ring and wave (spring) washer from the original shifter are used. These are parts "h" and "i". First the small ring goes in, then the original spring washer and ring, then new gasket, large ring and finally shifter. There is also a write up with pictures at Mazdatrix website. Their shifter is a copy of the Mazdaspeed shifter.

Grease the ball and seat. Don't remember whether the FSM calls for it, but I greased the lower bushing too. Basically any pivot points, It'll be obvious.
