What have you guys done to the center console shifter surround? Mine is beat up, peeling, and looks horrible.
I have seen some nice gloss black surrounds, how did they do this?

 

Most of this info is located in the "interior/exterior" section of the forum. Just do a search there. I have seen people take their interior pieces out and have them painted at a body shop, and the panels won't peel again. I, however, am going to buy them from Ray at Malloy.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say......Sand it down and paint it! Sorry for the smart-*** comment bro but, this should be obvious.
You know, one other thing (this is time consuming). If you peel off the coating, it is glossy underneath
