Shifter = Sequential

Can anyone tell me what think about driving a street car (FD) with a sequential shifter ??

How difficult do you think it would be ??

Which part? Shifting without using the clutch (except to start the car rolling) or affording the $8-11k that a sequential 5- or 6-speed would set you back?

...I get your drift.. a friend has a used one from his track car and he's pulled it out to swap it for something else. ...another seq as well..was wondering if it'd be worth the hassle to try it out in my car.

Are you talking about the Seq shifter where you still have to use the clutch but you just push the shifter up to upshift and down to downshift (no missed gears this way) or are you talking about the tranny ?

Stillway has a Squential shifter for $600. from JT. It does like the same thing, only you still need to use your clutch, but you will never miss a gear again

No, the Stillway does not work like that. It is not a sequential in my opinion. The stillway has a locking mechanism that only opens 1 gate at a time eliminating mishifts but it still uses the standard H pattern. This way while drag racing you can only shift from 1st to 2nd 2nd to 3rd etc... Dragon has one. I looked at getting one and I still may but it is not what I thought it was, it is not an up and down style shifter. Just to clear that up for people.
