Are the Shift **** threads the same on Miata, RX8 and 3rd gen?

Trying to see what options for a shift **** replacement. I want to stay with the correct thread and not use one of the plastic adapter versions.

Are Miata and RX8 the same thread as a FD?

Thanks

I'm not sure about the Miata, but many people use the RX-8 shift ****.

I used to have an rx8 shift **** in my FD. Alot of guys did the same. Its weighted and feels good.

I took it out because it sat a touch higher than the stock **** and it bothered me

We use a Miata Club of America shift **** (a "pot ****") on our '94 FD; also used another one of the same on my '90 Miata, so yes, the Miata and FD threads are the same.
