She's home after several weeks in the shop...

I parked her in the garage last night for the first time in a while. She has gone from a beauty to a beautiful beast. I will hopefully have her tuned next week and then out to the track. A good friend of mine "Lee" did all the work "tearbo2" on the forum.

She fought him every inch of the way but when it was done he did a fantastic job.

We took her out last night to do some street tuning and she was screaming...it felt great when the T78 kicked in.

Here's a few pictures of her. One of the pictures looks a little off.

*orgasm*

What's the power-band like with that T-78?

What boost can you run safely with your setup, and just WHEN exactly does it kick in?

I have only driven her for about 30 minutes with the current setup. I planning on running about 17lbs of boost. Should be plenty safe. The power was coming on around 3000 rpms and was still pulling when I let off at 6000 rpms.

I will have a lot more information in about a week.

The car was last dynoed making around 285whp and stock ports.

The intercooler is the Greddy 3 row...

And yes the blanket is from Gotham Racing...

Thanks for all the compliments...I can't wait to get her fully tuned

man u must be a kick *** driver to cut a 12.3, my old on had all bolt ons BNR stage 2's at 13 psi and i could only get a 12.7 out of it. Guess a low compression motor plays into that, and a 2.4 0-60 ft.

Im looking at this quote, and I know im gonna get flamed to all mighty hell for posting this, but...I cant resist. If anyone here is from the Jersey area, please back me up on this. There is a pretty famous white FD around here who hit a 10.9 on the stock twins. There you have it, I have no reason to make this up, im not even saying its my car. If anyone here is familiar with englishtown in NJ, he used to run there all the time and was even booted several times for not having a cage. He was running 11's for the longest time on the stock twins and finally broke 10's some time ago. Since then, the last I heard was that he finally switched over to a single turbo set up. Most people in this area should be familiar with John with the white FD. EIther way, the 12.3 on the stock twins is a sick time too. Congrats on that. And the red one in your pics is looking very nice.

The IC to Greddy elbow piping looks like the smaller 2-row version rather than the 3 inch IC piping on the 3-row. Maybe its just me? Regardless the car looks good.

I'm hoping to break into the 12's at all whenever I decide to take my FD to the track. I'm hesitant though, because of the rediculous heatsoak she's going to endure while waiting in the line or w/e...

:/

Not many mods to list here. Just intakes, down-pipe, catback, non-sequential. Though I do have a nice OS Giken twin-plate and I'm runnin 285's in the rear, at least I could get a good launch with that combo, no? I'm starting to dis-like my short-shifter though...too notchy.

rotaryrider36...I believe it was Boostn7 that went 10.98 on stock twins. The motor was ported. I think his best was a 11.5X on stock twins and stock ports.

I am only going to be happy with 10's from this point forward...

Ok so you have heard it. If I recall, you're right. His motor was ported with the stock twins. I thought for sure someone was gonna call bs on me though. Good luck with your goal for 10's!
