Setting idle...
Setting idle...
Hi All,
Just a quick question really...
Need to set the idle speed of my FD as I've recently connected the air pump back up to get through emissions here. This has resulted in the idle being too high when everything is warmed up.
I've got a gas tester (for CO2 etc.) that has a lead to connect to an ignition coil which will display the true RPM (due to the dash display not being too accurate). Just wanted to know if there's a pin on the data link connector that I could pick the signal up from as that would make it nice and easy?
I've looked at the service manuals and there seems to be a pin I can use but wanted to check first to see if there's be any problems...plus am bored in work.
