As a few of you may know i am just waiting for my PFC to arrive finally! I have a question about the running of the car though, so far my minor mods are -
F1 Stainless Cat Back Exhaust
Guted Cat
Apexi Power Intakes
Polished Intake Pipes
Group A Dump Valve
(PFC On Way)
New Plugs (Bur9eqps all round)

The car starts and runs very nicely, however at the moment when you get to the point where you feel the second turbo about to kick in it feels flat, and feels like it holding back and generally doesnt want to boost up properly. It pops and bangs ALOT! I have not pushed the car as it feels like it doesnt want to do it.

Is this mainly due to the fact that the car is not set up properly and needs the PFC? As it ran perfectly before any mods. Also the spark plugs that i pulled out two were very black which i think is rich and two where like a coffee brown colour on one side?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated?

When was the last time you replaced t your fuel filter. I had this happen to me after a race. I changed out my fuel filter and put in some D-Tox injector cleaner and problem went away. Who's going to tune your PFC?

 

Thanks for that japspec, i have a fuel filter on order,so will get it changed and see if it helps.
