It is the same size as that of Series 8. I had at one stage a Series 6,7 & 8 radiator sitting side by side and there is no difference.

I can understand why people would put 99 spec parts into their 93-95 but the other way around I'm not too sure.

If your radiator is busted its probably time to upgrade to an aftermarket one which will save you alot of hassles in the long run and it is a solid investment.

In the space of 3 months, I changed my stock radiator 3 times (I had a few spare radiators around). 2 of the 3 times was because of the plastic bottom tank cracked which is not fixable.

I know which one your talking about. I was close to ordering one about a year ago but it didn't have the nipple on the bottom tank for the AST return line.

Make sure it has this or you'll have dramas. Someone else on this forum has bought it and he said that fitment wise it was a nightmare as things don't line up etc.

Not sure whether they've rectified this but if you've got patience and time then for half the price of the Koyo or Fluidyne I don't see why its not a bad option.

This is an old thread on it: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/godspeed-radiator-684616/

Read it and you'll see the problems with it. At the bottom of the radiator there is a drain plug which faces to the front of the car. Behind it and next to the lower radiator hose there should be a small nipple where you attached the return line for the AST. If you plan of keeping the AST you must have this or the radiator is useless.

There are no holes for any sensors on the radiator.

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...t=ASI+radiator

ASI / Haste / Godspeed radiator are all from similar if not the same manufacturer, the only difference is that they are just rebranded under the above names.

Some other places to try is www.justjap.com - they've got similar radiators for $399 but if your going to spend that much your better off spending a little more for a Koyo. Your call.

Rotary Performance carries 2 good aftermarket radiators. The Fluidyne is obviously the better of the two, however you pay for the quality. They are a great store, though. They stock everything they sell and I've received everything I've purchased from them super fast.

air seperator tank. It's a black plastic tank that is attached to your radiator.

If you don't know what an AST is, I highly advise you check the FAQ and lay a foundation for what will prove to be invaluable knowledge.

May look the same - but it's not - it's been redesigned.

However, at the end of the day, both are flawed - you'd be mad not to go for a PWR, Koyo or something similar
