Sequential problems. Easy single conversion for weekend race?

So i have been experiencing problems with the sequential turbo system on my FD. Im thinking of doing a fast "single conversion" by locking the actuators in place so both turbos are online and i can go racing this weekend. Is there any reason this would not work? And does anyone have some "how to´s" to this kind of thing?
Thanks!
