Exclamation Sensor/Hose Identification Questions

I am trying to correct all the issues my RX7 came with when I bought it and have some questions. I have searched but its a very hard topic to search! Any help will go a long way!

First Picture:
What is the sensor circled? It is on the back of the water housing. I found that the clip that holds it in is broken and the wire was just shorting out on the block. Does anyone know where I can get a pig tail to replace this?!

Second Photo:
1. Area in the rectangle: Are these hoses suppose to be vented to the atmosphere? I figure they have to do with oil but I'm not sure what they are for.
2. Clip in the circle: Does anyone know where I can get this new connector?

Thank you for taking the time to help me in advance!!!

First picture is the switch for the fans. Part you need is off the entine harness. Contact Fritz Flynn or Ihor. Chances are they have a pigtail.

The lines in the second photo are for the OMP (Oil Metering Pump) injectors. On a stock engine they'd be run just above the nozzles into the vacuum rack.

I like to take the filters off the stock solenoids and stick them on the oil injectors. Much cleaner than running vacuum hose everywhere. I may have a pigtail for the fan thermoswitch maybe. they always break.

That would explain why my fans run 24/7!

IRPerformance, if you have the connector that would be awesome! Also do you have a photo showing what you mean? I want to clean up the engine bay as much as possible. I am welding up all the old vacuum ports to ensure I have no leaks so I want to be sure I dont need these two.

Bump...

Looking for some guidance on how to run those lines off of the OMP if i shouldn't leave them the way they are.

Also how do i get a hold of Fritz Flynn or Ihor? I would like to get my car back on the road ASAP!

Thanks!

I teed in the OMP line using a brass t fitting and ran the line to a nipple on the turbo inlet. See step 5 here:
Rotary Resurrection home of the budget rebuild.

Also since you got some of this stuff apart. It would be a good time to switch to a FC thermoswitch. This mod will kick on the fans sooner. There is a write up on here about it but you will have to search for it. Think DaleClark did the write up.

Thoughts on this fan switch?
93 95 Mazda RX7 RX 7 185°F Tempature Fan Switch | eBay

It looks like it opens at 185 and it would solve my issue with not having the connector.

I dont have an intake on the end of my turbo, only the filter. I will look into adding a brass hose fitting to the filter itself for the oil injectors.

I have another sensor I need to identify. I have see quite a few FD's with this sensor port just plugged off. Its on the thermostat housing by the lower rad hose outlet.

Thats the water level sensor, pretty sure you need it if you are on a stock ecu, without it it will trigger a low coolant light and buzzer.

Dont think it matters what ecu. If it remove it the buzzer will constantly go off. What I did is ground it at the harness to stop the buzzing; near the PS pump there are two connectors. Look through the fsm to see which one it is. I can't remember which. I'm using an AEM also.

I think I will just leave it, I was thinking about removing the expansion tank and do a custom filler but from what I have read thats not advised.

But with the logic of grounding it at the harness... couldnt I just cut it off at the sensor and ground it?
