Sending Out Fuel Injectors, Some Questions?

I just took off my fuel rail and injectors. Which is the primary injector and secondary injector? First you have the rail with 2 injectors then the rail hooks up to a fuel line then another 2 injectors that are very close to each other. My question is that when sending the injectors out for cleaning can you just send the whole assembly or just the injectors? Is there 2 fuel palsation dampners because I see one on each end, or is this somthing else? Please help.

The injectors on the rail are the secondaries. The injectors that are close together are your primaries. Send just the injectors, there are only 1 injectors the round unit at the end of the secondary rail is your Fuel pressure regulator.

Cool thanks alot. Also I notice that when taking out he injectors there where these little 1 inch plastic things and a rubber seal in the place where the injectors go into. What is the purpose of this? You do you mean there are only one injector? Are both primaries consider one injector and the secondarys considered another injector? Sorry I don't understand.

Bucrx7 is right.

To get the injectors out of the rail it takes a little finesse.

Get a 1/4" drive socket, probably a 5-6mm. Get a flat tip screwdriver. Get some oil, preferrably lightweight stuff, or penetrating oil. Pry very gently from the top of the injector while pushing with the socket from below. Drip some of the oil into the gap at the top of the injector and the rail. Twist the injector around and it should just pop right out.

I think he meant there is only one pulsation dampener. The thing at the end of the secondary rail is the fuel pressure regulator.

There are four injectors. The ones that are close together are the 550 cc/min primaries. The ones that are further apart are the 850 cc/min secondaries.
