Send pic of where the watertemp reading should be

Can somebody send a pic of there water temp reading on the stock watertemp gauge?? i want to see if my cars reading is in the same spot, i feel that its horizontal but its slightly at an angle, could be my imagination but can somebody send a pic of there reading on there stock water temp gauge???

it varies from car to car... the important part is that it's in almost the exact same position until it starts heading up - once it starts heading up, it won't stop.... so if yours stays in the same place, you should be fine.

argeed....kinda in the middle. I suggest getting an aftermarket water temp guage. You cann't trust the stock ones all that much.

yes anywhere from 1/3-1/2 can be normal...fact is stock gauge is a POS....

go aftermarket

I've actually noticed that when the car is running hot (like 220F), the guage starts to go just barely above horizontal, its almost imperceptible but I can actually tell the difference between 180 and 220. Normally the guage sits just below horizontal. Best bet is to get a real temp guage though instead of playing these guessing games.
