Secondary Turbo Problem
I’m having a small problem with my FD @ present.
Running the base map @ Present on the power FC with at last no vacuum problems. (I think)
Its goes fine on the primary turbo but won’t run the secondary it sounds like it going into the pre-spool as you can hear something working but no go.
My boost pattern at present is as follows:
10-5-5
So its basically going into the transition point and staying there as if the secondary flapper isn’t opening.
And ideas ???

exhaust leak maybe!? If you think you've cured vacc. problems. I have the same pattern and have a leak between the engine and exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine. Maybe thats it. Good luck!

Well the Charge Control Valve allows boost from the secondary to be added to the primary, so if it isn't happening, I'd say it's either the CCV, or one of the valves that controls it. The rod on the CCV should be in before 4500 rpm, or at idle. And it should slide out if you remove the hose from the chamber opposite the rod when the car is off.

I think what he meant was the CCA: Charge Control Actuator It is located on the pipe coming from the sec. turbo.hard to see but its under the intake hoses, on the y-pipe. It does allow sec.boost to flow after 4500 as well as prevent primary boost from backflowing below 4500 rpm. Sorry 911gt2 , I'm not trying to prove you wrong . Just want to make sure i stay on the same page as everyone involved in the converstion! Easy to get the many three letter abreviations mixed up!!
