Getting 13lbs on the primary turbo, then secondary comes on and boost drops to around 5lbs, then very slowly climbs to 10lbs and fads back down again.

The car is a 93 rx-7 with race-ported engine, pms controller (swithching to power fc shortly), turbos are TEC modified stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's the best turbo troubleshooting page. Tons of info and good explanations to go along with it.

The slow building secondary sounds like an improperly functioning TCA (turbo control actuator). Thats the thing that controls the door that allows the exhaust to vent to the secondary to pre-spool it. If it doesn't get pre-spooled, it lags bigtime, like you desribed. Why it drops off after that, I have no idea.

But check out that page, and carefully read the stuff about the TCA and all of the things that control it (pressure chamber, one way valves, etc.)
