Seat belts

I'm having a problem in that my drivers side belt does not like to retract when it's not in use. Anyone know a cure for this? Can the retractor spring be wound tighteror something?

what i did on my 240 was open the dorr and the motor was gone. i just fed it back to where it should be and then just manually click it every time. that was just laziness though cause the motor was shot

RX7 doesn't have power retractors, it's just a spring loaded mechanism
